On the occasion of Ewa Axelrad’s solo exhibition

A panel discussion at the Copperfield gallery on Thursday 16 November, 6:30pm will explore the problematic subjects of brothers-in-arms, group mentality, the allure of nationalism, and other ideas raised in Ewa Axelrad’s current exhibition, Shtamah. 

Speaking with Ewa Axelrad:

Fatos Ustek – Independent curator and writer. Projects include fig-2, ICA London, 2015; Art Night, East London, 2017. 

Joseph Constable – Assistant curator, Serpentine Galleries and independent writer. Recipient of the Whitechapel Gallery’s 2015 NEON Curatorial Award. 

Anthony Gardner (Moderator) – Head of the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University; writer and editor of the MIT Press journal ARTMargins. 

The exhibition will be introduced by Sylwia Serafinowicz – Shtamah curator, writer (Artforum, OZY, ArtMargins)
